The most important feature of a Curious Bee lies in his/her cultural curiosity. A Bee normally has completed a first degree, but this is not always the case. In fact, Bee knows that knowledge is not everything...the most important thing is wisdom. Bee is a humble person, very friendly, social, extroverted, generous, easy to speak to, open-minded, wise, and cosmopolitan. Intolerance, hatred, arrogance, and violence are terms that do not belong to Bee's dictionary. Bee listens more than she speaks, and looks in the eyes when interacting with you, while showing a true smile. Bee knows what are the most important things in life: career, money, and fame are important elements, yet they don't create happiness. Bee claims that what is really important rests inside of us, in our hearts, which need to be nurtured. Bee feeds her soul by perfoming simple acts; for example, reading a thought-provoking book, looking at a painting, watching great directors' movies, enjoying sceneries and landscapes, and trying to help the less fortunate. Bee finds everything she needs when she experiences the world through specialty travels. Indeed, during such trips, she craves to be in contact with nature, shaking new hands, embracing new cultures and customs, and throughout the journey Bee finds real pleasure in helping the human beings in need that are met along the way.  A well defined specialty travel experience translates into a journey to discover oneself.

Examples of famous Curious Bees can be writers Mark Twain and Ernest Hemingway, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, thinkers such as Hermann Hesse and Erasmus from Rotterdam, and artists such as Van Gogh and Paul Gauguin...just to name a few.  These remarkable personages found bliss and inspiration in experiencing the world!

So, are you a Curious Bee too?

BEE CARES!  As Curious Bees, we perfectly understand that by the mere fact of living in the so-called "Western side of the world", we are VERY lucky.  During your magical travels throughout less developed countries, you have seen poverty and resignation on the faces of the locals. Even in your own country you know that not everything is perfect and there are thousands of people that need help. As Bees, we have the responsibility to do our part in helping the less fortunate, and sustain charity causes.  Also, we understand how fundamental it is to safeguard mother nature and the environment in which we live and progress.  Please find below some no-profit organizations that struggle to help unfortunate human beings and help preserve the environnment.  If you know of any other organization that we can all TRUST, please contact me at lifeisajourney@thecuriousbee.com  and I'll display it on this page.  Please help make this world a better place.
